Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo in the Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories are of attending play rehearsals and watching her mother work. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. She earned a Bachelors in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. She then relocated in Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. In December 2009 they married following a civil ceremony. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk is a variety of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for Gemini Awards in 2009 for her performance. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the third season finale episode. The news was announced to the fans during the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she was ready to return to working. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season.
